Purposeful philanthropy and thoughtful leadership

The Yocha Dehe Community Fund's purpose is to create a healthy community through purposeful philanthropy, community engagement and thoughtful leadership.

Focusing on several core elements, the Community Fund uses philanthropy in ways that can help build an improved quality of life for Yolo County residents and Native people, wherever they live.

NOTE TO APPLICANTS: The next round of applications for grants will be due in March.  In February, application materials, complete funding guidelines and application procedures will be available on this webpage.  We thank you for your patience.

Over the past decade, the Yocha Dehe Community Fund has provided nearly $18 million in financial support to nonprofit organizations and service providers in Sacramento and Yolo Counties, and other organizations supporting the Fund’s goals in education, community health, arts and culture, the environment, community development and social services.

The Yocha Dehe Community Fund was one of the first to be established by a Native American tribe in California and is a recognized leader in local charitable giving.
