John Enea

John Enea is a firefighter and paramedic at Yocha Dehe Fire Department. He was born and raised in Redwood City, Calif. and studied general education at Foothill Junior College and fire science at College of San Mateo. He received EMT-1 training at Skyline College in 1996, worked as an EMT-1 in San Mateo County, and became a volunteer firefighter cadet with Woodside Fire District in 1997.

John completed a paramedic field internship with Menlo Park Fire District in 1999 and served one year as probationary firefighter and paramedic. He has worked as a paramedic in San Mateo County and San Francisco County for King-American Ambulance and American Medical Response.
